We operate on Company rates for contractual periods, arrange prompt and regular placement of trucks, having efficient tracking systems to monitor our truck movements and can also handle large volume of consignments and also over dimensional consignments. Our enterprise was established in the year 2014 as a company with its Registered Office at Renigunta.

In the beginning it was having 2 branches with 15 employees with which it recorded a turnover of Rs.3.27 crores during the first year. The company is presently having 12 branches criss-cross the Country with 60 employees and has almost registered a turnover of Rs.36 Crores as on 31/03/2017.

The company is now poised to achieve the targeted turnover, subject to suitable increase in the working capital requirements from its Bankers. During the current fiscal year, the firm has also been converted into a Private Limited Company and eyes on touching Rs. 100 Crores mark by the year 2020 since it is expanding its operations in highly potential areas by deploying aggressive and efficient marketing force supported by core Management Team. The company’s Corporate Office is in the Commercial Hub of Chennai at KKV Complex, I Floor, Chokkanathar Street, Karthikeyan Nagar, Maduravoyal, Chennai. The various departments of the Company are under one roof which extend to an area of about 1000 Sq. Ft. and this will help better co-ordination and further improve the overall efficiency of the company.

The founder of the company has to his credit more than 30 years of experience in transportation industry, of which all the 30 years was in A.S.Transport Pvt. Ltd. which has a recorded turnover of Rs.250 Crores. He has built excellent relationship with top notch companies and is instrumental in steering our company through all straits. Under his astute leadership, able guidance and sanguine stewardship, the company has scaled great heights. In point of fact, from a small speck of Rs.3.27 Crores in the year 2014 the company has achieved the present turnover of about Rs.36 Crores as on 31/03/2017 and has projected to reach Rs.100 Crores by 2020.

With his characteristic leadership skills Mr. Devaraj has taken the company to newer heights even as he is the recipient of the prestigious Transporter Rolling Trophy by ARBL consecutively for 3 years. Admiring his dedicated and excellent services rendered to various customers, the Executive Committee of AST has conferred the Customers & Vendors meet at Tirupati and awarded a Nano Car to Mr. Devaraj. His business foresight, strategic planning, combined with excellent administrative acumen and profound understanding of the road transport operations have steered their Alma Mator against all straits and has made it to grow to a position of importance in the Industry. His practical approach, poise and ability to identify potential opportunities have led the Company to scale perceptible heights notwithstanding the limited resources. Mr.Devaraj’s insistence on customer satisfaction and impeccable character has enhanced the reputation of the Company in the market as one of the best, professionally managed and reliable Company in the Industry.

Mr. Devaraj is also the President of Local Union of Renigunta Tirupati Balaji Lorry Owners Association and the members in the union, supply trucks to all the factories in & around Renigunta, Tirupati, Krishnapatnam, Gudur, and Nayudupet & Chittoor. Further because of his excellent rapport with the suppliers of trucks in & around Madhavaram & other places at Chennai, he is able to meet commitments regarding placement of trucks to all customers in time.

Possess around 15 years of experience in transportation industry and has been a key person in discharging the duties along with Mr. V. Devaraj in AST and even after floating SKT, he still continues to perform a key role in managing the day to day activities of the erstwhile AST Company.

His dynamic approach and practical wisdom has brought bumper profits during the last decade. Being an adept in carrying out inspections, he was instrumental in plugging loop-holes that allowed leakages of revenue. He introduced internal control system, strengthened the inspection and internal audit departments and established a system of close monitoring of movement of funds and vehicles. His deep insight into the nuances of the business has brought rewarding results in the past.

Possess around 20 years of experience in transportation industry. To step up the Key Management Portfolio with the growing demand in Revenue volumes, SKT had the opportunity of inducting Mr.R.Balaji as an additional Partner in the month of July 2015. Mr.R.Balaji was associated with AST as Assistant General Manager (Marketing), AST, since the year 2001 and had gained excellent and varied experience in the lines of Finance, Marketing, and Operations & Administration during his tenure of 15 years with AST.  The induction of Mr. Balaji who possess extraordinary skill in displaying persuasive proclivities so essential in a competitive atmosphere, has been instrumental in not only raising the revenue but also for the revival of our association with high profile customers.

In fine, the Management of SKT is in competent hands with all the three Partners having wide & varied experience in the field of Finance, Operations, Marketing, EDP and Administration and therefore, the company SKT could extend excellent and dedicated services to our esteemed customers with the result, SKT can march confidently and right royalty in the path of progress in the Business Front.
